A week ago we discovered a test in which the battery of the Galaxy Note 9 exceeded that of the iPhone XS Max with enough margin. Specifically, in that test we saw how when the battery of the iPhone XS Max was exhausted, the Samsung Note 9 battery still had a percentage of 37%.
But today a new battery comparison test suggests that the battery of the iPhone XS Max may be the best on the market. The test has been done by the YouTube channel Mrwhosetheboss, in the results the gigantic Apple iPhone has remained as leader.
The test includes Apple's iPhone XS Max, Samsung's Galaxy Note 9, Google's Pixel 3 XL and Sony's Xperia XZ3. It should be noted that the battery of the iPhone XS Max is the one that has less capacity among all these smartphones. This is the list of your specifications:
- iPhone XS Max: 3.174 mAh
- Galaxy Note 9: 4000 mAh
- Pixel 3 XL: 3.430 mAh
- Xperia XZ3: 3,300 mAh
The new battery comparative test of the iPhone XS Max
The YouTuber Mrwhosetheboss set the same resolutions for each smartphone and charged its batteries up to the maximum limit. The results of the test indicate that the battery of the iPhone XS Max lasted more than 6 hours, while the Galaxy Note 9 stayed 12 minutes behind. In third place was the Google Pixel 3 XL, with a battery life of 5 hours. The Sony Xperia XZ3 came in last place with a battery life of 4 hours.
In the battery comparison test, different applications were executed that use a large amount of energy such as games, video playback and the camera. Although it is a very valid test, it is imperative to remember that the battery of these smartphones usually lasts many more hours, since the video tries to spend the maximum amount of battery possible.
