The starting price of the basic model will continue to be established at $ 1,299.
Surprise! The MacBook Air is renewed, inside
And what about the MacBook Air? Although Apple has trouble recognizing it, one of the best selling MacBook is still the MacBook Air. The reason is very simple: the 13-inch model (the 11-inch is already out of the market) can be purchased for a price of around 900 euros, which may be tempting for anyone who does not want to spend more than that price on buying your laptop. The problem is that this model has been on the market for more than two and a half years, which for obvious reasons places it behind alternatives with Windows of the same price.
To the surprise of everyone, Apple has confirmed that the Air will also receive a power upgrade by renewing the processor with speeds of 1.8 GHz. This means that it will continue to be sold in the market under the same design, but now it will incorporate improvements in the that power refers.
